Moissanite was born from the stars — first discovered in a meteorite crater by Nobel Prize-winning scientist Henri Moissan in 1893. What he found was not just a mineral. It was a stone with a refractive index higher than diamond, capable of dispersing light into a spectrum of colour that no other gem can match.

At LUME NOIRÉ, we chose moissanite intentionally. Not as an alternative — but as a statement.

The Stone

Moissanite outshines diamond in brilliance. Its fire — the way it splits light into colour — is 2.4× greater than that of a diamond. It is nearly as hard (9.25 on the Mohs scale), ethically sourced, and created with precision. Every stone in our collection is hand-selected for clarity, cut, and luminosity.

The Care Ritual

Your LUME NOIRÉ piece deserves intention.

• Weekly — Gently clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap, and a soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
• Monthly — Polish with a jewellery cloth to restore its natural brilliance.
• Always — Remove before swimming, exercising, or applying perfume. Store each piece separately to prevent scratching.

Jewellery is not decoration. It is language.

Start with one statement piece — a ring, a pendant, a cuff — and build around it with intention. Mix textures: a delicate chain with a bold stone. Contrast scales: a fine ring alongside a sculptural one. Let negative space speak as loudly as the metal itself.
